I have been researching pacific island nations to move to when I retire-retire.

Vanuatu is in the top five of places I am considering moving to. It’s best argument is their banks tell the IRS to pound sand that they are not giving the IRS any info.

Gawd. That is great.

Infrastructure of the island is good because used to be jointly administered by the Brits and French. If a Brit improved something on the island, the French would upgrade something else. And vice-versa.

I went to Vanuatu in May of last year and it’s truly remarkable. Stayed on the East coast of Espiritu Santo, right on a pristine bay. Beautiful scenery, crystal clear water, friendly people. It’s my goal to buy a home there. Or maybe a spread of land and grow crops in the rich soil.
