WASHINGTON, D.C. Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) Announced on Tuesday that he will not seek re-election in 2018. The statement read as follows:
After much thought, consideration and family discussion over the past year, Elizabeth and I have decided that I will leave the United States Senate when my term expires at the end of 2018.
When I ran for the Senate in 2006, I told people that I couldnt imagine serving for more than two terms. Understandably, as we have gained influence, that decision has become more difficult. But I have always been drawn to the citizen legislator model, and while I realize it is not for everyone, I believe with the kind of service I provide, it is the right one for me.

I would have had to find out but now he is a gonner, but it may very well be worth the effort to find all who were involved. We know that McCain and Lindseed were up to their eyeballs and because of their complicity, it was sold to others.
I just looked at Breitbart and they are taking credit for exposing a sweetheart deal he had made.
First up was incumbent Senator Bob Corker (R-TN), who made a surprise announcement on September 26 he would not run for re-election, one day after a Breitbart News report about his sweetheart deal in an Alabama retail center development in which Alabama taxpayers are set to pay him more than $3 million over 20 years in sales tax incentive rebates. Though his announcement that he would not seek re-election was couched in terms that claimed it had been made [a]fter much thought, consideration and family discussion over the past year, its suddennessand the fact that Corker felt compelled to offer a lame and incomplete explanation for his investment in a deal that epitomizes the swamp in which the political elite thriveunderscores the potency of the Breitbart News report. Thanks PJ-Comix for Breitbart Goes 'Old Hickory' in Tennessee, Gets 2 Establishment Scalps
