Every time I hear news out of Britain, I just shake my head.
Poor snowflakes better not come around here. That is a small collection by local standards and here folks don’t count air rifles.
As far as I can tell none of them were actual firearms.
They were all air pistols/rifles.

Do you remember the story a few years ago when someone found an empty .22 casing in a parking lot in Britain? They called SWAT, cordoned off the area, retrieved the piece of brass and began a thorough investigation.
A couple weeks later, I found an empty .22 casing on the ground at a gas station. I thought about calling the police.
Last year, my kids and some friends were showing off their realistic looking airsoft rifles. Some ninny in the neighborhood called the police. A while later, three of our town’s finest strolled into the backyard. I was there and walked over to greet them.
They took a glance at the boys and said “Toys?”
“Yep”
“see ya” and they left.
I was OK with that.

My wife and I own 7 guns, and none of them are air rifles. What a joke. I usually keep 1000 rounds per weapon. You have to have a supply just for range purposes. I’m a regular person and no danger to anyone peaceful. According to this article, I’m a fanatic.
Five shots of .177 air-powered terror. I had to sit down after seeing it.
Strictly an amateur, that’s little more than a case of 22LR, last time I checked I had around 5 cases in my ammo safe and that’s not to mention the all the center fire reloads. The other safe, Liberty’s largest, is full of fire arms. The air rifles and pistols are stashed elsewhere.

Jon Greenwell from the National Crime Agency said although Jonathan didn’t seem to be selling the illegal firearms, the risk of them being stolen or sold to criminals posed a danger to the public.
“However as a firearms enthusiast and former license holder Knight was well aware of the risks posed by his weapons and the requirement to obtain the correct license or surrender them immediately.
“His collection posed a significant risk to the public had it been stolen or sold to criminals,” he added.

Oh my. I can understand the concern over the shotgun and ant revolver, but all the pictures of the ammo were for center fire cartridge rifles and they only captured air rifles and air pistols which don’t shoot rifle cartridges. The shotguns and the revolver also don’t shoo rifle cartridges.
So how was he a danger to society? Just asking.
