In the meanwhile slavery continues in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The U.N. is silent about it.
I bet 100 to 1 Justin Trudeau is secretly behind this. I have no evidence, but just a gut feeling.

I wonder how many UN bureaucrats have unpaid or minimally paid servants.

And to whom will they make these payments?
THAT is the big question. I guess they want the money to get into the hands of people who will inject it into the economy. The need inflation, and they are pulling out all of the stops to get it.

The UN can lecture us, after they lecture Islam on slavery.

See, that’s why you don’t negotiate with terrorists. Canada paid off one terrorist and now the precedent is set. The Canadian people are worse off than the British. But, not by much. The UN is going off of the last pay off and Canada will be stupid enough not to say, “No!”

These people are certifiably insane.
Just another scheme to soak the tax payers for more.
They’re not breaking our backs fast enough.

This is the problem with the UN. They've expanded their scope to include the bathroom sink.
Back to keeping the scope dedicated to "Peace" and "Protection".
The UN also believes that 14 should be the legal permissive age for homosexuality.

And what of the African tribes that captured and sold their enemies into slavery?

Useless Nuts.
Next up, the UN agrees to sanction Israel, for something, again.

Get the US out of the UN.

“In the meanwhile slavery continues in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The U.N. is silent about it.”
Because the real issue is not slavery. The real objectives here are the same as with the feminazis, namely, the oppression and subjugation of the white man.
Unfortunately there are too many brainwashed liberal white men to realize they’re being played like a grand piano by these ‘victim’ groups.

Wouldn't be surprised if Canada succumbed to this idiocy, which is almost certainly an attempt to use it as leverage to apply pressure on the U.S. to do the same.
Gotta hand it to Libs/Progressives/Socialists -- they NEVER give up.
While I'm at it, a big middle finger to feckless, lying Republicans in our country who NEVER FOLLOW up.

If they want Canada to pay reparations, then the UN should set a stellar example by paying back rent at 405 East 42nd Street, New York.
On second thought, let’s just kick them out and turn it into something useful like a big Walmart.
To: Enlightened1
Is there no statute of limitation here?
A hundred years after every single perpetrator and victim has died, it should be enough.
Besides, slavery was legal then.
It happened before the formation of the UN so it's clearly out of their jurisdiction, legally as well as space and time.
Unlike the slavery that is going on today, on their watch.

The United Nations Human Rights Council says Canada should apologize and pay reparations for slavery and other forms of anti-black racism. The United Nations Human Rights Council is again pandering and asking for money from the "rich" nations. Do they do anything else other than ask or demand handouts with deeply flawed logic to justify their actions.
They want you and many others who have never had anything to do with anti-black racism, to pay.
Are they racketeering thugs who shake down anyone with a dime in his pocket for his or her money?
