Todd ArcherJosh Weinfuss Facebook Twitter Facebook Messenger Pinterest Email print comment GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals displayed unity Monday night before their game in an expression of displeasure with the recent comments made by President Donald Trump.

As the Cardinals were introduced, Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones, as well as executive vice presidents Stephen Jones, Charlotte Anderson and Jerry Jones Jr., stood locked arm in arm with the players, coaches and staff.

Before a giant American flag was unfurled that covered almost the entire field, the Cowboys took a knee briefly as a group, including Jerry Jones, which led to a smattering of boos from the crowd that included a large number of Dallas fans.

During the national anthem, the Cowboys stood locked arm in arm but nobody took a knee or appeared to have any sign of silent protest.

The “brands” of the team names have been damaged beyond repair.

What is going to replace football?

Well, that’s just great! America’s Team is now the Rockettes.

Tempted to sing “in the land of the freebies and the home of the brave” until this goofy crap stops. Hey, if they get to pick their “protest”, then so do i. Two can play at this game.

Jerry Jones capitulated to the progressive anti-police vermin.

NO, Jones respected both the Constitution and the players right to free speech, and peaceful protest, yet he did NOT allow them to disrespect the Flag or Anthem. Jones told them he would fire anyone who took a knee during the Anthem or disrespected the Flag! I respect that!

We either believe in the Constitution or NOT! I agree w Trump we need to boycott NFL, and those who do take a knee during the anthem, but it does NOT give us right to violate their right to peaceful protest, because we see them as wrong. I disagree with whole BLM perversion since all lives matter, and the Obama/Soros BLM is hoax on left.

If anyone would have protested the Kenyan usurper they would have been summarily fired. We’re letting these loser crybaby’s ruin America and all because they hate Trump and racism or something. They are the REAL racists in this whole thing.

Everything’s turned into a political demonstration now because nobody will stand up to the azzholes.

F*** the NFL and every single anti-American chump who takes a knee.

Hands Up Across the Sidelines! Kumbaya, Look At Me.
Team meeting, players tell Jones how it’s going to be.
Jones folds like the folks’ aluminum web lawn chairs, and actually goes down with them. Disgusting hypocrisy.

What is this locking arms B.S.?

Whatever happened to standing up, facing the flag and/or putting your hand on your heart?

Seems like the NFL is retreating a bit from the kneeling position?

Nevertheless, I am not going to be “good” with the players locking arms like little children.

To me that looks like a lockout and still disrespectful.

The NFL in about 3 years will be like Baseball. It will no longer be the national sport it held until Kapernick and his shenanigans.

I am done with the NFL. It is a shame that Atlanta finally has a good team and I now have ZERO interest in watching them or going to the new stadium. sad

Better learn to love the stadiums they have, be a cold day in hell before the public subsidizes a new one.
