Any "normal" person would have had bail revoked and been carted off to jail when sentenced. Weiner is still "special" and was allowed to walk out of the courthouse after sentencing.
I wonder if he'll ever serve even a day.

I’m sure he’ll serve the time. It’s not like there’s a conviction for him to appeal. This was part of a plea bargain.

Me too. He knew he was looking at possible jail time so why was he allowed to walk out of there?

Weiner is still "special" and was allowed to walk out of the courthouse after sentencing. And he will be invited to report to his choice of a plush, minimum "security" facility at his earliest convenience. Upon his arrival, a welcome dinner will be held in his honor, preceded by an icebreaker social at 7.
