I’m not sure the term conservative fits Trump. He is an old school patriot, but I would classify him as a traditional liberal of the mid 20th century type. Both terms have been hammered out of shape as to be unrecognizeable.
Trump is not Republican or even directly conservative.
But he is Pro America, which is a massive change.
