I have been a Steelers fan since 1966, but no more.
Steelers spent week working on protest dance, game plan not so much

All together, the teams are worth 63 billion dollars and they just torched it.
I hope it was worth it.
but I doubt it.
Art Rooney would not have it
The Saxons have woke
As I have always said, ‘You can lead liberals to reason, but you can’t make them think.’
Perhaps they will begin thinking after this sports gravy train falls apart but I doubt it.
NFL may actually be done. A lot of people leave and discover there is life after football.
I think a lot of that happened during the baseball strike. People realized they could live without MLB and didn’t come back.
Have any numbers of overall attendance/viewers from yesterday been published? I suspect next weekend will be bad for the teams/owners after yesterday’s stunt.
NFL revenues are mostly fan based.
Revenues from games on TV. Less viewers = less revenue.
Stadium ticket sales. Empty seats = less revenue
Empty seats also mean less concession sales
Merchandise sales. Less merchandise sold = less revenue
The only revenue that fans do not have immediate control over
are team corporate sponsorships.
And that could collapse if fans boycott these company products.
I think a lot of that happened during the baseball strike. People realized they could live without MLB and didnt come back.
I’m 61 and I’ve been a Steelers fan since I could say Steelers, but no more. God Bless Ranger Villanueva, but screw the Steelers and the rest of the National Felon League. Even that scumbag Ben Toothlessberger stayed in the locker room during the anthem; “teammates” my OD green ass!
These pampered pussies who’ve been coddled and accommodated since at least high school and make more in a year than most Americans make in a lifetime think they have any standing to bitch about “inequality”? Who pays your bloated salaries when ticket sales, advertising revenue and paraphernalia sales go away?
This guy worked at a NFL stadium for 30 years. He quit after yesterday’s display:
I don’t know about that..................
Several weeks ago, Limbaugh spoke about this. He has some minor experience in this, as an announcer for the Royals decades ago, and he recalled that one day he was required to go to a training session about fan loyalty. The trainer essentially said the fan/team relationship was unconditional, and the team never made demands or emotionally hurt the fan - much like a relationship with a pet.
Now that the NFL has broken that paradigm, fans might leave in droves.
Same thing with my husband, he used to do fantasy leagues etc. but after that strike, he doesn’t even follow baseball at all.
Raven fan posted something too, burning his memorabilia.
Can’t find it yet, but radio hosts and guests were talking about it.
They should all be burned.
Probably what the Ravens did, too. Much worse game than the Steelers!
Of course, the Jags ALSO bent the knee.
This just made Drudge:
