When you decide to move, consider a purple state first, then a red state.

What is your reasoning?

Your votes are wasted in a deep blue states. In states like FL & OH, we need more conservative voters and it can make a difference. One of the reasons we moved to FL from WA, was we like the low taxes here. Auto licensing is very cheap from 2nd year forward. Sales tax is very reasonable. No shortage of water and electricity. Best of all, as a senior residing in my own house, I get a $50k reduction in assessed valuation. For example, my property tax is $600/year on a $130k market value condo. Lots of beaches and greenery. But once in a while a hurricane appears. We had 2 visit Florida within last 12 months but did not affect us hardly at all. Lost electricity for half a day is all. September through April the weather is gorgeous. Rest of the time must have A/C, as it is hot & humid.
