I don’t think China is all giggles and pleased as punch with Kim.

He’s become a real thorn in their side too.

To what extent I don’t know. How much of this is for our consumption, we just don’t know.

It would be a reasonable assumption that all of this is for our consumption.

The North Korean nuclear program depends on Chinese technical support and materials. The Norks are doing what the Chinese want them to do.

If the Chinese want to back off, we might be told that Koreans are "temporarily suspending nuclear tests out of concern for the environment" or some such thing.
