I won’t be watching football this Sunday. Might watch the Cowboys on Monday, even though I loathe them as a (former) Eagles fan, as Jerry Jones has stated opposition to the on-field player idiocy. That is how bad this has gotten.
This is about as unAmerican as it gets, and I’m sick of it.
I was sick of it on day one.
Kaepernick should have been fired by the end of that day.
This would not be happening.
Agree about Cowboys...maybe they really are “America’s Team”!
This is one of those times I’m glad to not be a football fan. I was at the office the other day and was busting on a co-worker for his Redskins logo on his shirt. (His wife works for the team) I told him that if I ever had to buy a jersey, it would be Redskins even though I’ve never seen them play a single down.
NASCAR would be wise to take advantage of this controversy. They are highly patriotic. I suspect any driver who takes the knee won’t make it to lap five without an up close and personal meeting with the wall.
But, I fear the leadership is too stupid in other ways to take advantage of the controversy
I posted that because some still think Jones told his players they’d be fired if they didn’t stand for the flag.
I know the feeling.
YUUUGE Pats fan. But, Robert Kraft also joined the list of wimped-out owners:

I thought he was better, and stronger, than that.
No more Pats/NFL for me.
