“I might have made a mistake,” President Trump told the Alabama crowd before the special election on September 26 to fill the seat vacated when former Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions became attorney general. “I’ll be honest, I might have made a mistake,” he said for emphasis.

It isn’t clear from your original post what you are saying about trump. Please clarify; thanks.
I’m not anti-Trump when McCain, Obama, or either of the Clintons are the reference point, but I’m not blind to the flaws in his personality profile, either, as are some FR constituents.
Read Post #3 if there is any question what I relied to it in Post #7. I don’t know how it could be clearer.

It was a Lose/Lose proposition for Palin; McCain had picked her, so she would look like a jerk rejecting him.

Cooperation of the Obamacare repeal precipitated Trump’s support for Strange. No doubt the RINOs had a pact that involved McCain’s traitorous nay.
The mistaken gamble Trump made was to Trust the GOP-e before the vote, and not the “BIG unforgettable mistake” you seem to be relishing.

We sent this man, President Trump, into the swamp unarmed. He’s doing the best he can but he’s not the problem, Congress is. They’re all in on the coup, threaten to impeach him if he fires the attack dog Mueller or the compromised AG, Sessions. They tie his hands and wait for the kill shot.
Trump is doing everything humanly possible to survive, character be damned.

Why support Strange if he is so compromised?
I think Trump really believes Moore is too far right to win the general. It’s what he’s been told. And maybe it’s true I don’t know.
What I do know is if we let these crooks (GOPe) keep manipulating races it’s irrelevant, they’re as bad as the Democrats.
Well the coup is pervasive in America. But Moore is not going to be a wild card. He is who he is. He will MAGA and Strange compromised already. Think no contest.
