he end is still nigh just not as nigh as it was earlier this week, a Doomsday writer says.
David Meade, who claimed the world is ending Saturday when a mysterious planet collides with Earth, is now backtracking on the calamitous claim.
Meade said the world wont end on September 23 after all, but instead, Saturday will only mark the beginning of a series of catastrophic events to occur over several weeks.
The world is not ending, but the world as we know it is ending, he told the Washington Post. A major part of the world will not be the same the beginning of October.
Meade said his prediction is based on verses and numerical codes found in the Bible, specifically in the apocalyptic Book of Revelation. He said recent events, such as the solar eclipse and Hurricanes Irma and Harvey, are omens of the approaching apocalypse.
The significant number is 33, according to Meade.

Yesterday and today the world did in fact end for some people.
And, the world will end tomorrow. Just not for most of us.
Peace out, enjoy each moment!
Hey, SubMareener, what now?
Still the MSM’S guy to quote when they don’t want to report on Trump good news.
This gets old.
Not to nit pick but the Google says Skeeter Davis’ version came out in June of ‘62 and the Cuban Missile Crisis was in October of ‘62.
Hey NY Post. Where’s the story on Algores’s prediction the world will end? That was about 10 years ago. Still waiting
“World without end”. Eph 3:21.
Yes, but we are definitely and soon coming to the end of the current age which will be punctuated by unimaginable horror for seven years upon those who have refused Christ.
The good news is this very horrifying but very brief period will be followed by the glorious 1000-year rule of Jesus Christ showing us how things were really meant to be.
The time difference shows us how much more God wants to show us his grace and mercy than his judgment (James 2:23).

Well, it is 1:25 AM on the 23rd in Jerusalem now. The Crown of the Revelation 12:1-2 sign (Leo with Mercury, Mars and Venus) will still be visible a 6:15 AM. The Sun rises at 6:27 am due East of Jerusalem. The moon rises about 8:24 AM.
We are still in the two-day Feast of Trumpets. Which ends at sundown, 6:34 PM on the 23rd. All times IDT (UTC +3.0)
Some say the time will be shortened to 5 months, lest no “flesh be left alive”. Most assuredly Christ said the time would be shortened “for the elects sake”.
It could come true. There’s only a few more hours until the 23rd. There’s still time for a chocolate run.
Ok it’s just that the guy never said what the MSM claims he said. Does that sound familiar? MSM makes up what they want? He said he thinks we’re in end times, gettingnear 7 years of tribulation or near the 6th seal of revelation. So, the MSM claims he said the world’s going to end. These two are not the same.
Here’s a link to an excerpt of the interview which the MSM contorted into “end of the world.” Note that at the 3:50 mark the guy specificially says that he’s not talking about an extinction level event and says the last ELE was 65 million years ago. But, the MSM would prefer you believe them instead:

I pedict that the world will end TOMORROW. One day I will be correct!
The guy changes his story from end of the world on September 23rd, to end of the world as we know it, in October. What pray tell will he say in October? What is it with these people? They seem to crop up randomly every so often.
He meant Sept 23, 2018
Great. Is he going to do this crap every day now?
Damn!....and I was looking forward to going out eating a pile of donuts and pastry a-la Bill Murray in Groundhog Day....
You’re right, “The End of the World” was recorded in June, 1962, so maybe it was inspired by the Berlin crisis. But it wasn’t released late in the year. It entered the country-western charts in December and the Billboard Hot Hundred chart of pop hits in January, 1963.
