Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said in a statement on Friday that he will oppose the Graham-Cassidy Obamacare repeal bill. McCains vote against Graham-Cassidy effectively tanks renewed efforts to repeal Obamacare.
McCain said in a statement: advertisement
I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal. I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried. Nor could I support it without knowing how much it will cost, how it will effect insurance premiums, and how many people will be helped or hurt by it. Without a full CBO score, which wont be available by the end of the month, we wont have reliable answers to any of those questions.

But Trump endorsed him for re-election, so Trump proves he is the bigger man to forgive and forget. But not McCain. He is intensely jealous of Trump. McCain failed to win the presidency where Trump succeeded.
Billy Joel song , the title of which escapes my memory.
When is this sob going to croak out.
As usual : IT IS NOT A REPEAL BILL. You are being lied to.
Collins will not vote against Obamacare no matter what...
So McCain makes 2, with Pence breaking the tie...
however My guess is Snow is probably the third if she hasn’t already stated....
same as before.. the reality is they don’t want this gone, never did, just promising to get rid of it for votes.... Will cost the GOPe dearly... I see a lot of folks getting primaried...
I have an uncle who was a successful businessman. He was very wealthy. Unfortunately, he couldn’t bring himself to retire. So, he kept wheeling and dealing into his late 80’s and well after he was not mentally competent to do so. He lost it all and is now impoverished in his nineties and living with his daughter. I think McCain has reached the point where anything he does now subtracts from any good he may have done when he was more able. If somebody doesn’t stop him, he won’t suffer financially, but he will do lasting damage to Republicans and his own reputation.
Just need to send OTHER republicans... Primary Time.... Just like what’s going to happen in Alabama in a few days.
Stevie Wonder could have seen this coming.
But what about the Democrat senators Graham said he had lined up in support of the bill? Surely he has enough to more than offset the GOP No Votes. Anyone?
Come on AZ. Really? Letting his stupidity slide because he was a POW is like letting hildabeast slide on her crimes because she lost the presidential race. Or something.
My friends: Go back to 2008-Rats had 60 votes. They wanted the immigration issue so they didn’t do ‘comprehensive.’ Trump will have the issue going into 18’. He just needs to keep fighting while premiums go up and access goes down. Then we can do it our way. This latest version had too many detractors on our side.
Suckers!
AZ ought to be boycotted for re-electing this joker until he became senile. Now all he wants is attention and getting revenge on President Trump for winning, which he was unable to do.
You may be right. No, you may be right. Whose on first?
That is reasonably fair, McCain got a pass on several career ending incompetent actions because his father and grandfather were US Navy Admirals. He crashed five Navy aircraft, four of which were his fault.
McCain divorced his sickly non affluent wife (causing her loss of Navy medical benefits), and remarried a very wealthy socialite who financed his political aspirations.
McCain never did any good as a Senator..lets face it the GOP has fooled us for thirty years
Trump has unmasked the DC crooks..
Ronald Reagan’s biggest mistake GEORGE BUSH
If you want to get re-elected you do what we tell you...
You being Ryan and McConnell
If we do not need your vote ..you can vote no..
I hope the Tumor splits his skull wide open while he is still alive.
“Why is this jealous little old twit so powerful?”
Because Arizonians are too busy apparently.
It’s just sad if the health care of more than 325,000,000 people depends on the whims of an 81-year old man with a malignant brain tumor.
He’s powerful because of the Senate’s seniority system. McCain is in his 30th year. The word “senate” comes from the Latin word “senex” whch means “old man.”
