Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said in a statement on Friday that he will oppose the Graham-Cassidy Obamacare repeal bill. McCains vote against Graham-Cassidy effectively tanks renewed efforts to repeal Obamacare.
McCain said in a statement: advertisement
I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal. I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried. Nor could I support it without knowing how much it will cost, how it will effect insurance premiums, and how many people will be helped or hurt by it. Without a full CBO score, which wont be available by the end of the month, we wont have reliable answers to any of those questions.

Does this mean that he’s finally breaking up with Linda Grahamnesty? /sarc>
i oppose it. It is horrible capitulation to socialism and theft for one to force free to another.
I heard news programs suggesting Murkowski as a likely prospect, even more than Collins.
I am confused. You say “thank God for Rand Paul, McBrain can go to hell. So far as I know they have both committed to killing the bill unless Rand Paul has changed his mind.
Why are the Democrats fighting so hard to stop Graham’s bill? Perhaps the surrender monkey conservatives sitting in their arm chairs and complaining the bill isn’t good enough should ask themselves that question?
Fly in the ointment MCain strikes again. I thought I heard not too long ago he has cancer. I was assuming he’d retire. But no, of course not. It seems as long as there’s breath in his body his mission to be a monkey wrench thrower, the people be damned, will not be averted.
That said, was this bill any good though? Anyone heard enough details to opine?
That photo positively gives me the creeps. May they both soon meet in hell together . . .
I am starting to think McCain will NEVER vote for a bill that requires Trump’s signature. Which also puts a tax reform bill in jeopardy. Bastard.
Maybe Senator Manchin from West Virginia?
I see us struggling with 3 political problems for Trump right now.
1) A do nothing GOP Congress, particularly McCain, and I’m afraid nothing is gonna end up on Trump’s desk for a signature in the rest of the term.
2) The Deep State including the FBI, that Trump seems to be letting do its damage.
3) The all in strategy of the Democratic Party to rely on fake American voters. This is why we must have the travel ban, must have the wall, and cannot give citizenship to Dreamers, or the GOP will never have the White House again.
I suspect that Mister McCain is vengeance-driven, mostly by envy and jealousy as Trump did what McCain could not; and he looks (and feels) the inept fool by comparison.
To McCain, settling a score is more important than properly delivered healthcare for millions upon millions of Americans. And, this last sentence is how we GOPers will always remember McCain.
Maybe he should talk to the democrats about ‘bipartisanship’.
Don’t tell anyone but he secretly IS a Dhimmicrat. And not bipartisan
Creepy dudes!
Thanks ColdOne.
I don’t think it’s even a secret.
No......it’s out in the open...
...for the Hanoi Candidate
If Dufuss did not like the plan where is his plan/ Could this just be because he hates Trump? I guess he got his lips off Schumers ass long enough so he can vote now. It would look bad in the senate with Schumer coming in dragging this boil stuck to his butt. McCain should be removed from every committee he is on. If the Democrats want to put on on one lets them do it
McBrain does it to spite Trump. Rand does it for the good of the nation along with Ted Cruz today!! Kill that obamacare BILL!!
