Don’t be so hard on him.’

He’s just slow, real slow to come around to Trump.

Recall that there were a majority of Freepers who recoiled at the thought of Donald Trump running as a GOP candidate. One of those Freepers was me. So I set aside the first weekend in August 2015 to research Donald Trump at Suzzalo Library and I went in pretty much like most others with a prejudice and bias thinking Donald was a lying skunk and I would prove it.

And I found much more, so much more that showed beyond any doubt that this was a really good exceptional man in both competence and character. Sure, he had a few warts, but don’t we all?

Back in August 2015, there were very few Freepers who recognized the real Donald Trump from the monstrous one that the liar media had created. Everyone seemed enamored with Cruz as was I.

So we can be forgiving of those who were fooled but who have since come around.

What is particularly strange about Michael’s conversion is that his father was maligned in the media just as much if not more than Donald Trump. So he should know better than us.

But sometimes it is so hard to overcome a preset image of a person especially when they talk like a New Yawker and we all have preconceived notions of liberals in the Big Apple.

There was also a flurry of images showing Donald smiling in photo ops with Hillary who is truly evil.

And there was nonstop bad press about how Donald had donated to democrats or that he was connected to the Mob.

It was until later that we learned little by little that as a builder, Donald needed to donate strategically to get his permits and that as a builder in NYC it was impossible to avoid contact with the Mob running the trade unions in construction. But we learned that Donald did what he could to avoid impropriety and that in any event, he avoided breaking the law.

His life is amazing.

Back to Michael, let’s welcome him into our fold. He is a great radio talk show host and he has a lot to contribute from history with his views and commentary. I sincerely hope his conversion is or will soon be 100%.

Now if it were liars like Erik Erikson or Evan McMullin, then it would take a miracle for me to offer them a welcome.

You say don’t be too hard on him and then point to FReepers who were hard on Trump as well.

Yes, and if you’ll take a good look at many of them, you’ll notice they are nothing but ankle biters here day in and day out. They read reports from CNBSC, MSNBC, CNN, the WP, the NYT, the WSJ, take their comments as the gospel, and then trash Trump non-stop because of it.

I’m tired of allowing people into our camp, who are destroyers.

On some days now, FR looks more like DU than FR, when these idiots get what they think is finally a kill shot.

Enough already. They have proven who they really are. What’s left to be said.
