If we think we can ignore these cockeyed ideas as fringe and insignificant, then we are in denial. They are everywhere; they’re no longer the stuff of radical anecdotes.

We’d better wake up — and stand up for the things we believe in, lest their very advocacy convict us soon of hate crimes warranting societal censure. At the risk of being falsely accused of white supremacy, may I suggest that we all become more civic-minded and charitable and promote the time-tested traditions that have made this nation great and that are designed to improve the lot of all people, irrespective of race, creed, ethnicity or gender?

He's right...we'd better wake up. Too many people laugh off these attacks on our culture as just more evidence of how looney the left is. They are looney but they're also determined, aggressive and now violent.

The older I get, the more I like ‘white supremacy,’ ‘white privilege’ and ‘patriarchy.’
Because everything else seems to be a pile of perverse, diseased BS.

If you repeat an absurd claim often enough, it becomes believable.

Sounds almost like somthing out of the boys from Pinocchio that turned into donkeys

Overuse of the term “racism” is devaluing its influence. It’s being applied to more subjects in increasingly non-sequitur ways, showing that those using it don’t know what it means. (Consider the recent flap about Hobby Lobby selling tufts of dried cotton plants as decoration: everyone wears cotton, the plant is naturally prolific in the South - calling decorative display of the plant “racist” is preposterous; worse examples abound but are so deranged I can’t remember them.) Overuse is culminating in the increased ironic accusation “you’re a white male - therefore you are irredeemably racist & sexist”. A term overused into meaninglessness becomes impotent and ignored.

I’m listening to a history of the Haitian Revolution. Racism was a _huge_ issue there. Interestingly, when France (controlling the territory) absolutely declared total racial equality of all, forbidding any distinction based on color, and completely emancipated all slaves, the response of the recently-freed “coloreds” was to ... rebel and re-impose abject distinctions & classification of blacks, coloreds, and whites. why? to preserve their own relative power vs those who had been enslaved and were now equals, and to empower the slave owners to keep things that way.
I think we’re seeing something similar today: having achieved total legal equality (even advantage, per “affirmative action” laws), and practical social equality (so little of the population is “racist” that SJWs have to actively seek out “microaggressions”), those who enjoyed their socioeconomic status based on racial stratification are desperate to preserve it and do so by telling one group how horribly oppressed they are, and another how horribly oppressive they are, in ways that encourage them to in fact act that way as a matter of self-preservation.
(BTW: we see where Haiti ended up after all that inter-racial struggle ended. Not good.)

So, to the left’s way of thinking, if you believe black people can be virtuous, you are racist?

"Traditional Values Are White Supremacy?"

If they say so. Patriarchal exceptionalism might be a better phrase, though. Or they could simply call each of us "uncle." But then we'd be...oh, my.

Conservatives all the way up to Rush Limbaugh have set their own trap by substituting the term “Christian Values” with the worthless term “Conservative Values”.

I have always assumed that one of the main reasons racism is sinful is that it involves judging people and discriminating against them not on the basis of their individual character or behavior but on their group identity. Among other things, this robs people of their human dignity and equal worth as being created in God’s image.

Then why is it done in the bible? There are countless instances of division by demographic (and doctrine) in the bible.

Let me ask you sincerely: Do people really believe that these innocuous notions of hard work, virtue, marriage, respect, friendship, civic-mindedness, charity and patriotism are unique to certain races or groups of people? That they are not constructive goals for individuals, groups and the nation? That they are somehow rooted in bigotry of any kind?

Most definitely and certainly YES. These are now whitestream values. Remember not too long ago the "Marriage is for white people" comment by that inner city black kid?

These people believe the American Dream is only available for white people. And so they foul their own nests as they distance themselves from any success or personal acheivements.
