I heard this this morning.
Was exactly as described.
Silence. Audible gasps.
UN audience didn’t know what to do. These that agreed I think were too timid to clap.
I think there ended up being some applause after the silence and gasps, but don’t remember for certain.

The UN needed that head slap.

There were some applause, both at the end and at a very few statements. The speech was very well researched and very well written. There were a few over-the-top statements, enough so that everyone in the world from the global elite to the lowliest of "little folk" will listen to what he said. The message LOUD AND CLEAR was that nation-states that put the well being of their populations first are the best form of government. He had kind words about the potential of the UN, but unkind ones about the bureaucracy that's overwhelmed it.
I personally think he's listening to neo-con globalists too much with regard to Assad, the mess we created in Kiev, and Israel. There was so much substance and it's not presented in a politically correct non-offensive matter. I suspect it would be impossible for anyone to take it all in without having some questions.
