Crowd sourcing please. I was listening to a BBc news feed in a ny cab about clashes with Russia and NATO - now I see nothing. Weird
BBC reports Vilnius declares state of emergency.
Bbc reporting clashes between NATO and Russia. "Something Major underway"

Russia has been staging wargames across border as a show of force. Codenamed ZAPAT. Google for more. Think this was planned and expected.

Definitely FAKE/HOAX that this leftist NPR reporter likely hopes will go viral.
When you went to the BBC website, were they reporting on this?
Definitely fake news, here’s a proven case if there’s nothing to the story.
Watching BBC now, talking about tennis.
I bet she fell for one of these phony YouTube videos.
I saw this one a few months ago, it’s actually pretty well done.

It’s BS. Probably related to dumbass Russians accidentally firing on people during war game exercises.
Absurd.
And a deliberate lie.
This is actually a better version, I saw this one like a year ago.

Maria Sharapova?......................
If it were real there would be discussions about tactical nukes across Belarus melting tank columns. This area is not Crimea, we won’t let it go without pain, IMHO.
BBC Moscow correspondent twitter feed had trouble with accuracy earlier:

Looks like a case of Ready Fire Aim, but not what you’d expect out of the Beeb, especially in a place like Moscow.
Deir Ezzor, Syria?
The city of Deir Ezzor has been under siege for four years. For almost two years, the U.S.-backed alliance of Kurds and other minorities has been just across a vacant stretch of desert from Deir Ezzor, but hasn’t moved to liberate it from ISIS.
A couple of weeks ago, the Russian-backed Syrian Army launched a campaign to liberate Deir Ezzor and had already mostly succeeded, lifting the siege last week. Now, the Kurds’ alliance has come from the far side of Deir Ezzor declaring that THEY are liberating Deir Ezzor. Russian bombers have been bombing the Hell out of ISIS, but apparently at least on one occasion, they hit the Kurds’ alliance. The Kurds have responded saying that if attacked again, they will attack back. I’m a little surprised the Russians didn’t just say, “Oops! Next time stay out of the way when we’re already engaged!” So maybe the attack was openly deliberate.
My guess is observers see Syria v Kurds as Russia v NATO.
If it’s NPR, it’s fake. You’d be better informed reading an outhouse wall.
That one is actually real. Russians were initially denying it, but have admitted it by now.
