Meghan McCain is reportedly in talks to join ABC's "The View."
CNN, citing unidentified sources familiar with the discussions, reported that McCain is in late-stage talks with the show. A deal has not been finished, however.
The news comes after Jedediah Bila said Monday that she is leaving the program. She called her time on "The View" an "amazing journey."
McCain announced last week she was leaving Fox News, where she was a co-host of "Outnumbered."
She wrote on Twitter she was "thankful" to Fox News for the opportunity but was leaving to "focus on other things."
"I have no doubt the show will continue to do well and wish all my friends and colleagues at the network nothing but success," she wrote.
McCain's father, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), is currently battling brain cancer. She said in a July statement her father has remained "confident and calm" since his diagnosis.

or to be a conservative
As you state, it was a funny show.
The lead guy was great, and I have to say Portia de Rossi (Ellen Degenerate's ex squeeze: LINK), did an incredible job as the middle-management boss.
The character and lines she delivered were priceless.
Jay Harrington (Ted), and the rest of the case were also brilliant.
It was one of those short run (2 seasons) shows that you wish had been picked up to go on...

Lost my best friend from my Air Force days to the same form of brain cancer almost two years ago. However, my friend was almost 25 years younger, in peak physical condition and a man of tremendous faith. He lasted almost five years, which is almost unheard of for someone suffering from glioblastoma. Last I heard, his doctors were preparing a paper for a medical journal on my friend’s case, because he responded so well to treatment and fought the disease so bravely for so long.
Average survival rate is about 15 months. Admittedly, McCain is getting the best care available (at a facility that doesn’t accept Obamacare, no less), but I’ve heard nothing to indicate his survival prospects are any better than average.
Yes, if his diagnosis was correct, it's not a long time. Same time frame as Ted Kennedy.
Henry Dorley Zoo. Very good zoo. I remember going there when I was a small kid. They had a gorilla named Casey that everyone loved.
I am sure she will have her father on as the first guest when she is hired.
She thinks we care about what she thinks...heck no!!
The scientists were the best. Lem and can’t remember the other guys name. He was frozen in the first episode.
Now they have those huge dome buildings. One has sea creatures swimming all around you with penguins and such in a cold environment. Another is like a rain forest and another like the African plains.
Yes, that was a good one.
Remember his screams after he was thawed out.
They would just overtake him in the middle of a meeting or at any moment.
Ted’s SlumpBuster
Who here remembers when Republicans appeared on daytime TV together and respectably (as opposed to that sad, lame excuse of a show discussed in the article)? Frank Sinatra on Dinah’s Place, 1970:

Frank Langella did too, back when he was younger, and far better looking than he is now.
I remember when Goldberg and Danson were strongly criticized for performing a skit as blackface minstrels during one of the comedy Roasts. Rush Limbaugh commented about the couple on one of his radio shows at the time, saying something to the effect: "You know that movie "White Men Can't Jump," well, the title should actually be "White Men Can't See." I laughed so hard at the time, and it's something I've never forgotten.
I can also recall him saying that if Ted Kennedy, and Billy Carter ran on a Presidential ticket, their campaign slogan could be: "You Drink, I'll Drive."
Good riddance!
Wrong, those poles are not strong enough for her fat ass
We know the old fool’s a Dem. But those bitter old hags don’t. He might not be as bad and evil as Trump but he’s still wants to bomb everyone and he’s got an R next to his moniker.
The View is a disgusting show with foul-mouthed idiot liars on the panel. From the news clip I saw, they grilled Meghan McCain mercilessly but wouldn’t allow a response, saying 95 percent of what President Trump is a lie. They wouldn’t allow Meghan to refute that and shut her down. If I were to be interviewed on that show I would be screaming about what a pile of crap is coming out of the panel members and they should have their heads crammed down a toilet.
I meant Sarah Huckabee, but whatever, the critique of The View as vile stands.
I think the plan was for her to help Jeb bush and Carly Fiorina in the presidential election...if you look at when she was hired the time her show was on. and basically the show was canceled after the election. She was going to be a 3 hour ad each day . I realy do think that the establishment plan was Jeb Bus and Carly as vice presidential candidate.
