At 5 I was too young to roof so I carried nails up on the roof. Realized much later my gf was just letting me play work. I eventually joined him for awhile in roofing.
Good. This is family apprenticeship.
You may not work for someone in the trade, but you’ll know a lot about doing your own projects.
My grandfather taught me quite a bit about carpentry, electrical wiring, and plumbing.
It’s not tradesman level knowledge, but as I said, you can accomplish a lot of your work around the house without having to call someone in all the time.
