It's even more muddled considering an Independant leads the Dems, with a partial populist agenda aka Trump. A fine cluster.
If Republicans don't unite behind DjT, we'll back to 2 parties.....they'll be out of business, but believe R's may soon grasp the gravity of their situation.
Hey...they can "dream" can't they?
Me too, but I got a horrible feeling that everything is gone.
Hey y’all! Been busy this morning. Perfect day. Church, then Walmart, and then coffee outside.
Anyway, back inside to the thread. Sorry I’ve been absent...
Bernie Sanders as an Independent. Such a laugh!
Maybe 30 years ago or so, when there were still reasonable, fairly intelligent, democrats who loved the USA and opposed the Soviets (EG Scoop Jackson), but Bernie was ALWAYS a Socialist.
NOW that the democratic party has become the de facto Socialist Party, and all of them hate America and the average working American (who, through no fault of their own, happen to be white), they are Bernie’s soul mates who share the same ideology and love of communism.
They’re all one party, whatever the Hell they call themselves!
What a great clown picture-thanks for the laugh!
I don’t know why Trump is doubling down on Luther Strange. Maybe he’s trying to throw a bone to Mitch so the Turtle will ditch the blue slip thing going on? We need to get those judges in place.
Absolutely great post, Bray.
Hi guys and gals friends internet just came on for a while so I’m going to take advantage of it been a rough week needless to say we started out in the Villages and came back home to Isla Morada in the Keys 3 or 4 days ago first night slept out on the porch no electricity and then yesterday we got electric really nice clean up Crews or down here everywhere just you know doing a fantastic job the chainsaws and ever in the you know noise from the generators never ends but that’s part of it do some more in a minute
Really piece here bud the forest and the NOAA data buoy system all needs to be privatized there’s so many things that government is doing there that should not be doing government is usually a disaster when they try and do anything other than protect the currency or maybe help prevent a war fight of or whatever so long way to go just thank God Trump is our president
Good to hear you are back home safe rod, know it will take time to get back to normal, which will be a new normal, but do so knowing you have all of us Freeper Friends praying for you and family.
Great stuff fish help me catch up and no news for me at all since Wednesday or Thursday there’s no cable down here and no phone not much cajundome internet if you have a smartphone when it’s working then rather gloomy but you know I was lucky we didn’t have damage in the lower Keys there’s a lot of damage time there tons and tons of damage there’s restaurants all over the keys giving free food and Red Cross is down here and now there’s a FEMA number although I hope FEMA offices are set up sooner or later we really do need them
Lost our internet / phones ( U Verse) and spotty cell at best ,also for several days...
Sure makes you realize what a true cyber attack could do to create mass confusion and uncertainty.
It is tough with no electric the bugs will eat you up but it makes you appreciate it when it comes on yesterday I watched 100 police cars all in black tried for the Lower Keys where there’s been some loading but seems it’s getting under control better and better tonight one of the big restaurants is going to open up and have free meal for everyone in the Upper Keys which will really be nice
Thank God. Safe for now from Javanka and ConeMcMaster
Thanks so much nn just heard from my kids about 2 hours ago they had about a foot of water in the downstairs which is real real lucky they did lose all their trees and shrubs consider amount you know maybe 20 $30,000 worth of trees and shrubs on a fairly large lot but their house is in good shape and they have power they have water you can’t drink the water and of course we don’t have any you no internet or phone or any of that but all things considered the kind of bit the bullet on that.
they were good because they were in the eye It was about 40 miles long extended from Marathon all the way to Sugarloaf in the keys and Marathon got slammed no question about it
Thanks. I cited Wall Street J - I guess they also have their head where sun does not shine
Hang in there FRiend.
If you just scroll through a few back pages of FR, I’m sure you can find at least a half-dozen “betrayals” by President Trump. You’ll also meet a wholebunchalotta FReepers who think just like you.
How aew you rock!it was bad but most of the devastation was between Marathon and Key West.
Key West got slammed pretty hard there.
there’s a lot of areas you know that got tornadoes but it was not an Andrew no question about it.
not an Andrew where things got blown flat that’s just didn’t happen.
it’s hard to say what the highest winds were because the idiots at Noaa didn’t have buoys where we needed them or the buoys they did have werent working so the best knowledge we have is from radar. I did document some stuff at 109 110 111 but there was probably higher sustained and no telling what the Gusts were much less the tornadoes.
