Thanks so much nn just heard from my kids about 2 hours ago they had about a foot of water in the downstairs which is real real lucky they did lose all their trees and shrubs consider amount you know maybe 20 $30,000 worth of trees and shrubs on a fairly large lot but their house is in good shape and they have power they have water you can’t drink the water and of course we don’t have any you no internet or phone or any of that but all things considered the kind of bit the bullet on that.
they were good because they were in the eye It was about 40 miles long extended from Marathon all the way to Sugarloaf in the keys and Marathon got slammed no question about it

Thank you for checking in. Fantastic that their home is in good shape—with electricity! Putting on my Master Gardener hat—lots of trees, shrubs, and perennials etc. can be propagated by cuttings at very low to no cost. In the meantime, the property can be brightened by seeding or propagating annual flowers for the cooler months ahead. Such a relief to know they are on the road to recovery. God bless.

Fantastic news! So glad to hear good news for a change.

Sorry to hear about the trees. They make all the difference on a property. What's the probability of another strike.............
