Hurricane Jose has been hanging around, waiting for attention in the wake of Hurricane Irma. Newcomer Maria threatens to impact the Caribbean Islands already devastated by Hurricane Irma, and brushed by Jose. Hurricane Jose threatens to brush or impact New England. Lee appears to be a fish storm at this time.

NHC has been a little conservative with increases....like last time the issued a special advisory 20 minute later to increase
I just don’t get that user interface at all. Bizarre UI. I am listening, but it’s more by random fumbling than by knowing what I’m doing in the app.

What a beast!......Saw the Governors and Mayors walking through the communities talking to the people who are just terrified ....urging them to let those there help them....
I spent three very memorable and blessed years in the Navy stationed at Roosevelt Roads. I love the Puerto Rican people and that little island. Please stay safe!!

I’ve pretty much run out of adjectives.
A friend at work told me his mother lives on the northwest side in a very solid house. He thinks she’ll be ok. I don’t know what to think.
These storms, when they’re this powerful, they’re going to dictate the terms.
Expect some to retire this year as well.
Intense and exhausting season.
I think we can count on Harvey, Irma and Maria names being retired after this year.
We were in one where the tornado picked up acop car cop and all on a levee on one side of the canal and put the car down cop safe and sound on the levee on the other side of the canal but facing the other way.
Also saw someone’s big picture window with a branch suspended in it - not fractured as if the glass had been struck- but as if the glass was just water, like the surface of a lake with a cypress knee protruding from it.
I guess if it were vital I’d learn to use it, but I read Twitter (even though I’m not a user) and the NHC, FR, Periscope, YouTube and storm2k. That’s enough!

Puerto Rico officials trying to comfort and help people go to the shelters....before Maria hits....even so the people are terrified...
