They couldn’t and wouldn’t make another Exorcist so instead we “dirt worship” our way with self-righteous pretentious bull, and cheap effects. Desperate for box-office cash churning from within their little elite bubble.

You might like the writing of James Ellroy, the author of L.A Confidential (the book from which the movie was made).
