I agree.

I will say though, when people with a lot of potential do very dumb things, I cease to classify them as smart.

Dangerous? Yes, certainly...

The forum had this discussion about Obama.

Nobody who is smart does things to destroy his homeland, the only nation his children have known.

Well, first of all...it seems to be that a large number of students who are accepted for admission to these schools have no qualifications other than family connections. The various Ivy League schools “admit” to 25-33%.

Then, let’s add the “diversity” admissions...guessing that’s probably about the same?

So, given that there might be a little overlap (with a few of the students in the above categories actually being qualified); we might be looking at half of the student body being actually “smart.”

Further, let’s consider that the intelligent students are actually there to learn things. They will set upon a path leading to medical & scientific advancements...and most of us will never hear of their brilliant work.

Meanwhile, the other half (the idiots) are protesting & will be running things at the high levels of academia & politics for years to come.

Good Lord.
