The state government appeared on the edge, for the first known time, of missing a payment as a result of not having enough cash on hand amid a feud over how to patch a $2.2 billion budget gap.
Gov. Tom Wolf's office has not revealed how the Democrat will manage through a cash crunch that he has said will leave his administration unable to pay every bill on time, three months into the fiscal year. Beginning Friday, the state's main bank account was projected to go below zero.

Could use the Ca. solution .... issue “Chitman” paper.
Wolf is huffing puffing and will blow his house of cards down.
Wolf won in 2014 because he had a better message than Tom Corbett.
Why did the PAGOP nominate Corbett in 2010 in the first place?
Corbett also had to contend with the wake of the Penn State/Sandusky scandal. It did hurt him.
Don’t Democrats generally raise taxes to cover budget shortfalls??
Change of subject but related - Pennsylvania needs to eliminate school/property taxes. Too many people around the state are losing their homes to those archaic taxes. They need to pass HB/SB 76! As people learn about it, support is growing, Spread the word!!

Corbett was an ass.
The GOP can’t find a young ,high energy, outside the box thinker to run instead of lifeless, recycled Attorney Generals? Wolfe should have been smacked down like the progtard that he is. He raised taxes and still the government runs in the red under a BS budget. It wasn’t only the urban vote that organized and voted but the idiots on the Mainline have gone blue.
Sounds like Wolfy is “Malloying” the state.
” Beginning Friday, the state’s main bank account was projected to go below zero.”
The overdraft charges are going to be a bitch.
