King tweeted the following after the Associated Press (AP) and other outlets reported that the president told Democrats he wanted a quick amnesty for the 800,000 plus illegal aliens he acted to removed protections from on September 5:
Steve King @RealDonaldTrump If AP is correct, Trump base is blown up, destroyed, irreparable, and disillusioned beyond repair. No promise is credible.
King, a long-time immigration hawk, told Breitbart News Washington political editor Matt Boyle that an amnesty move like the one onto which Trump reportedly signed Wednesday was Republican suicide. That assessment came just after Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the administrations decision to keep a major election campaign promise and phase out President Barack Obamas Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) executive order. It was a clear campaign promise, King said at the time, referring to an immediate end to the program upon Trumps taking office.

Lies, fake news, bullshiite, etc.
>>bullshiite<<
Adds shine and protection!!!
Massive border security is NOT a wall. Funding for such security can end tomorrow, priorities can be changed. Walls are far more permanent. That is a major reason why we want a wall.
Trump does have an option: Aggressively enforce the immigration laws already on the books. Arrest & deport ALL illegal aliens, including DREAMERS. The MSM uproar will loud & Trump’s base will be thrilled. That will put immediate pressure on Congress to negotiate with him & he can hold out for money for the wall.
BS... Trumps base is going nowhere over DACA...
Requiring a proper law for them vs the unconstitutional law that Obama invented isn’t blowing up anything.
As usual king, the known loser, is wrong and mainly a fire-setter.
Steve King has never lost an election.
Pinheads and nitwits vote.
Remember, you read it on the internet so it has to be true.
(More fake news)
Do you have any idea at all about who Steve King is and what he stands for?
I think not.
It is amnesty for millions, including many criminals, and the worst possible incentive to put out there for more illegals to come here.
They already have a proper law, which is for them and their parents to be sent to their home countries. There is no way we can get back the hundreds of thousands of room, board, and tuition they have stolen from us, but if they go back home to their fellow countrymen who didn’t break our laws, perhaps they can put some of what they learned here to good use back where they are legal citizens.
Pardon me, but your never-tumper is showing.
>> Its hard to see how Trump can face his supporters if the AP report is correct <<
Not to worry.
Whatever deal is (or isn’t) struck with Chuckie and Nanzi, most of President Trump’s supporters will understand right away that the entire fault lies with Paul and Mitch.
(And for those supporters who don’t know right away, Hannity will explain it to them tonight. Stay tuned.)
>>Pardon me, but your never-tumper is showing.<<
Ouch! I seriously can’t stand those pompous Sadducees.
And we equally revile you never trumpets. But we’ll see who gets the last laugh. LOL!!
Again, ouch!
“It means getting stabbed in the back, especially hurts when it comes by a friend or ally.”
Trump is getting stabbed in the back a lot, but so far nothing’s taken him out. Thank goodness... and kek.
What’s the difference between a NeverTrumper and a never Trumpet?
Oh, did you bother to read my earlier reply about never Trumpers? If so, why do you think I’m reviling Trump followers?
You are delusional my friend... you can argue until you are blue in the face that someone who was brought here by their parents at 4 years old and never lived anywhere else since should be deported... but you are whistling past the graveyard.
Yes had the government done its job 20 years ago and deported the parents and their children with them, no worries.. they didn’t. You aren’t going to unring that bell... and believing mass deporting them is going to be cheered by anything but a very very small portion of the electorate is flat out denial.
We’ll see what law comes out of this, but reality is it will be a proper law one way or another when done rather than the unconstitutional fiat put forth my Barry Sorento. He should have been impeached for DACA...
You may wish that the sins of the mothers and fathers be placed upon their sons and daughters, but the overwhelming majority of people do not believe in that type of world view.
>>Trump is getting stabbed in the back a lot, but so far nothings taken him out. <<
Maybe from the Deep State leaks, but not from the criticism of those who backed him during the past two years. The truth is quite the opposite (Gorka, Bannon, McFarland, etc., etc., etc.)
