You are right. That’s the number they’re going with, although when they go with rounded numbers like this, it’s a pretty good indication they have no idea how many, or are trying to hide the actual number.
Tell me it’s 799,834 and I’ll have a little more confidence. Probably still won’t believe it, but they have a little better chance.

I’d also guess that there are a lot of unresolved or unfiled cases leading to that round number. DACA requires that you be brought here before 2007 but many don’t find out they aren’t legal until high school graduation so that number will grow.
But that 30million number people are bouncing around is 1 in 10 Americans.
