LEBANON, N.H. (AP) — Police say they are investigating reports of an active shooter at New Hampshire’s largest hospital, which is under lockdown.
Lebanon police said Tuesday they are investigating reports of an active shooter at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. People were told to avoid the area, and traffic was stopped on a route leading to the hospital. There has been no confirmation of a shooting.
Hospital spokesman Mike Barwell says that Dartmouth-Hitchcock is ‘‘currently locked down’’ and that local and state police are on site.
WCAX-TV reports an employee said all workers received an email from the hospital about a ‘‘code silver,’’ telling them to get out if possible and otherwise to shelter in place.
The state attorney general’s office is investigating.

I am listening to the scanner and it seems like the situation is under control but they are starting to sweep of the building which is still under lockdown/(I hate this term)shelter in place.
Why they bring these rabid-psycho animals anywhere near non-prison hospitals is beyond me. If they cannot receive treatment at the prison in which they are currently incarcerated either forgo the treatment or transfer them to a prison with sufficient hospital facilities. My "insurance" increased 129% for essentially an unlimited deductible so I have to go without medical services. Why on earth should criminals receive medical treatment that endangers hospital staff at non-criminal taxpayers expense.
Good question... I am sure there is a reason why... prob costs a ton to keep up a prison hospital

This happened Sunday night at the Hospital I go to.
Obama(no-)care is turning our hospitals into war zones and of all the places you would want to CCW, long corridors, nooks & crannies, equipment rooms, mini-kitchens and closets everywhere. Shelter in place means hide and wait your turn for the killer to get to you. No Thanks!
God help our first responders that have to clear these buildings.
Looks like the sheriff’s department, the deputy and a security agency are the ones being sued.

I’m guessing that they will be installing metal detectors or x-ray scanners or searches after this.
The reason why is that the prisoners have enforceable rights to proper treatment and the taxpayers have enforceable rights to not pay for proper care at state facilities, so regular hospitals and their staffs are caught in the middle.

My Hospital?
Was just on evening Snooze, was PT yelling down hall on 2nd floor about breathing problems, fired warning shot and told Nurse so. PD is called and responds shooting and taking out Perp.
Now if he can yell and fire shot AND TELL NURSE THEN HE MUST BE ABLE TO BREATHE?!?!???
BTW Perp was from FLORIDA via Hurricane.
