A prisoner got loose at my local hospital and it went sideways. Now there is a lawsuit, guess who is going to foot the bill for the lawyers fees let alone the enormous settlement that will probably be paid for this insane folly.

Why they bring these rabid-psycho animals anywhere near non-prison hospitals is beyond me. If they cannot receive treatment at the prison in which they are currently incarcerated either forgo the treatment or transfer them to a prison with sufficient hospital facilities. My "insurance" increased 129% for essentially an unlimited deductible so I have to go without medical services. Why on earth should criminals receive medical treatment that endangers hospital staff at non-criminal taxpayers expense.

Good question... I am sure there is a reason why... prob costs a ton to keep up a prison hospital

Looks like the sheriff’s department, the deputy and a security agency are the ones being sued.
