Because this year is a little more stormy, we have to suddenly start believing the state should control all means of production?
BARF! The fires out west are because the forests are lib controlled and are “loaded” with kindling. You can have forests and logging or forests and fires. But you can’t possibly continue to have forests and no fires and no logging.
Here in Texas we have had an unprecedented couple of weeks of 80 degree weather. And it is still summer.
The climate changes. It always has. The causes of climate change are in the hands of God. Most conservatives don’t care to “fight” climate change. Those who do need to recognize what they’re up against.
The unprecedented hurricanes that have hit Texas and Florida, and the wildfires that have rampaged across California, seem to be pushing some reluctant conservatives from climate change skepticism to acceptance of reality.
And the old ones that are, for lack of a better word, stupid - because they should know better.

These asshats have been waiting for 10 years to be able to cite a reoccurring weather event that confirms their long preached predictions. FINALLY they’ve have gotten a few consecutive natural disasters they have so fervently longed for for so long.
Trust me, many of these wacos are glad we have had two hurricanes hit so close together. They can now submit for more funding and research since their 20 year old prediction came true (finally and quite coincidentally).
I had copied that blurb, and was about to say the same thing, then I saw your post.
Waiting for anyone to tell me how hurricanes on the Gulf Coast and Florida are somehow "unprecedented."

If liberals would shut up, i.e., close their mouths, than would help reduce greenhouse gases tremendously.
Further, if liberals would stop charging their electric cars using electricity produced by fossil fuel electric plants (coal, natural gas), that would help.

Climate change is real, but human actions have little or nothing to do with it on a global scale. It has been going on for the millions of years the earth was in existence.
What this article implies is that conservatives should jump on the bandwagon and try to make a profit on all the bogus garbage this hoax spawns.
Clearly coldly cynical and clearly demonstrated how calculating the swamp is and what motivates it - PROFIT.
