How many Americans were killed by "jihadist terrorists" on U.S. soil before 9/11?

I suspect I know what you're implying but it ain't gonna work. 9/11 occurred less than eight months after Bush took office so if you're gonna cast blame then look to his predecessor.........

I'm not blaming anyone for 9/11 at all. The author makes this case that the Bush administration's decision to invade Iraq and Afghanistan must have been smart ones because very few Americans were killed by Islamic terrorists in the U.S. since 9/11. All I did was point out that very few Americans were killed by jihadists before 9/11, too -- and I wouldn't read that as evidence of anything at all.
