A Republican senator who was once on Donald Trump's short list for a Cabinet spot but has since feuded with the president could be targeted by a primary challenger backed by Steve Bannon.

Trump's former chief strategist is seeking primary challenges to several GOP senators, including Sen. Bob Corker, of Tennessee, the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, according to Politico and CNN.

He is endangering our Senate majority, which we must have to pass Trump’s judicial appointments.

Trump can get the Democrats to pass his agenda now.

Trust me here. Democrats will NOT vote for Trump’s conservative Supreme Court choices in any universe.

See my previous post.

When the congress gets off of its ass and stops obstructing President Trump on all other policy issues, you may have a point then.

“I only care that they be a permanent minority.”

That will never happen as long as the GOP critters continue as they are now — corrupt, emasculated, and frickin’ “gentlemen”. Even if numbers technically have the Dems in the minority, their bullying techniques keep them in the majority practically. They still get what they want and that won’t change.

Take out Corker, Linda, Turtle and McCain and then the Senate will begin to change.
Right now McCain and Schumer run the Senate.

Lol! Bannon is endangering our majority? Are you for real? The sitting GOP senators have done that and it is all on their heads. Bannon at least recognizes where the problem is and it is the US senate. When they lose the senate in 18, it’s on McWeasal, Corkhole, McIsane, the Rube etc...

You can’t make promise after promise and then punt of just say we lied and expect to win again. You can be made at Bannon, he is a convenient excuse not to take that hard look in the mirror and make a real evaluation of oneself.

Bannon is bulls-eye on target. These Rinos from ruby red states need to be primaried and voted out. The GOP primary winner will win in those states Trump won by 20 points. That will put the fear of the angry voter in McConnel, et al.

“I moved here from Los Angeles in 2015,happily leaving Boxer and Feinstein behind. I’m more than disappointed in NC’s two apparently never-Trump senators.”

Burr and Tillis are so atrocious. I called Burr’s office and his staffer pretty much told me, “yes there is Russian collusion because Flynn talked to Russians”. So you can see why the “investigation” goes on- thank Burr, certainly not the smartest light bulb in the pack!

There is NO guarantee that these RINOS will vote for Trump’s Supreme Court nominees. They are unpredictable and vindictive!

As of now, only one has tossed his hat in the ring to run for Corker’s seat and he’s running as a Republican this year. He’s run for various offices over several years, more often on the “D” ticket than the “R”.

We have GOT to do better than that! sheesh!
