A woman being booked into an Illinois jail had a loaded handgun hidden in her vagina, according to corrections officers who found the weapon during a strip search of the suspect.
Amika Witt, 20, and a male acquaintance were arrested early Thursday morning after their car was stopped for speeding on Interstate 55 just north of Bloomington. A police search of the vehicle and its occupants turned up heroin and Ecstasy.
Witt, seen at right, was subsequently transported to the McLean County jail, where the intake process included a strip search.
During the search of Witt, a female jailer recovered a loaded Kimber .380 caliber handgun from the suspects vagina. The gun--seen below in a photo from the manufacturers web site--had a fully loaded clip and a bullet in the chamber.
The handgun weighs 13.4 ounces with an empty magazine and is 5.6 long.
In addition to narcotics possession charges, Witt, who lives in Missouri, was also hit with a felony weapons count. She is locked up in lieu of $40,035 bond.
Yes, this has happened before. And before.
This thread is perfectly fine without pictures...
What the story failed to mention was the gun was disassembled when inserted....
You guys are being hard on her. When and how would have been the chance to surrender it earlier?
Oh, Officer, I need to advise you I have...
Wow! I am a woman and cannot even imagine what that must feel like. And the germs! She must have been pretty desperate to do such a thing.
“That’s a pretty rough looking age twenty. She should be going to proms and cotillion. “

She is 20? WOW. I would have pegged her for 40 or 45. Poor thing.
A girl with two triggers would be a lot of fun at parties.
Whoa! Reminds me of some pranksters putting viagra in an old guy’s milk of magnesia. For a while there, he didn’t know whether he was coming or going.
Bless the women of law enforcement...tough work.
“What would Mae West say? Is that a gun in your ... Never mind.
Need to order some mind bleach.”

LOL! Yes, I’m glad to see you. ;) Ms. West was a remarkable woman.
btw, with a screen name like that, and people like the arrested woman in the world, you’d best be careful. LOL!
This whole thread needs a major mind bleach wash. Funny, but quite disgusting at the same time. ;)
I hope this woman gets some psychiatric help.
OK, I got to admit that this has to be the most innovative method of concealed carry I’ve seen all day.
Is there really a sectional for that territory? And you couldn’t fly that under VFR, could you? What might the winds aloft be in a situation like that? Altimeter setting? Might need additional items on the checklist.
Oh, and two other points:
First...she’s from Illinois? Please tell me she is not from Chicago (where I grew up). Something tells me she is. I listen to Chicago news and am getting very tired of the shootings and murders over there. So sad.
Second, the story is from ‘The Smoking Gun’? LOL! You just can’t make this stuff up. LOL!
That must be why she was clanking while she walked. Hope nothing got pinched.
Let me guess, it was a .38 ReVULVA.
“Bless the women of law enforcement...tough work.”

That is very true. It must be hard enough to do that job as a man, but women are not as strong as men and it must be that much more difficult.
Especially on this anniversary, we should all say a prayer/give thanks to our first responders, men and women.
Watch out fir the clip.
"You can't press charges. That gun's merely her birth control method of choice. It represents my client's womanly right to choose."
The gun may be one of the smaller things to happen in there.
Shoot up enough heroin, you might not notice.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! MY EYES!
