I wonder about New Jersey. I have a conservative friend on Facebook who hails from that state and he told me at about this time last year that the southern and rural areas are very much Republican but that it is the urban areas in the north that turn the state blue Democratic all of the time.
Rural areas seem to have more common sense than the urban centers. Part of that is the taught victim-hood in the inner cities.
The same situation exists in DE. Blue north with more people out votes the red South, by a 60/40 spread consistently.
BTW, the fraud in NH cost the GOP a senate seat.
When it took 7 days to count a mere 400,000 votes in NH, you knew fraud was afoot.
