US House committee urges vigilance against violence by Erdogan bodyguards

The US House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs on Friday sent a letter to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson requesting that he take steps to ensure that another violent incident involving the security detail of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan does not take place during Erdoğan’s visit to New York for the UN General Assembly on Sept. 12.

“The violence on May 16 outside the Turkish Ambassador’s residence in Washington, D.C. was only the latest in a disturbing series of violent, unwarranted behavior by the security forces accompanying President Erdogan while in the United States. In 2011, Turkish security officials engaged in a fight with United Nations security personnel and again in 2016, Turkish security personnel attacked journalists at the Brookings Institution,” said the letter, signed by committee Chairman Edward R. Royce and Ranking Member Eliot L. Engel.

On May 16, members of President Erdoğan’s security detail took part in a violent brawl with a group of protesters outside the residence of the Turkish ambassador in Washington while Erdoğan was paying an official visit to the country. At least 11 protesters were injured.

The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department released a video of “persons of interest” believed to be in Erdoğan’s security detail who were involved in the attack on protesters. The police department also issued a wanted list for President Erdoğan’s bodyguards as criminal suspects for their attacks on protesters on May 16.

Indictments have been issued for 19 people, including 15 members of Erdoğan’s security detail, for attacking the protesters in Washington, D.C.

The indictments, which were announced in August, accuse the perpetrators of attacking people who were protesting the visit of Erdoğan and of committing a crime of violence. Some of them also face charges of assault with a deadly weapon. While 16 defendants were charged in June, three new defendants, all of whom are Turkish security officials, were added to the indictment.

The House unanimously passed a resolution in May condemning the outrageous and abusive actions of the Turkish security personnel in the violence outside the Turkish ambassador’s residence, said the letter, adding that “We must ensure that Turkish National Police and accompanying security personnel respect the laws of the United States and refrain from any aggressive actions that are unrelated to the protection of the Turkish President.” The representatives also requested that “those security personnel indicted for assaulting peaceful protestors will be denied visas to enter the United States as part of an official delegation.”

Good for the U.S. House of Representatives. It should be clear by now that past behavior is unacceptable. And that it will be necessary for the past thugs to stay away from U.S.

In Turkey, to get close enough to a Christian pastor to assassinate him, a group of Muslims including three women feigned interest in Christianity, attended his church for over a year, and even participated in baptism ceremonies.

Said the pastor: "The Muslim people had infiltrated our church and collected information about me, my family and the church and were preparing an attack against us. Two of them attended our church for over a year and they acted like family."

THE MUSLIM DOCTRINE OF TAQIYYA...ITS OKAY TO LIE TO A CHRISTIAN (AN INFIDEL) For those with a discerning eye, taqiyya is all around us. (a) Muslim refugees have pretended to convert to Christianity; (2) an Islamic gunman gained entrance inside a church by feigning interest in Christian prayers.

Examples abound on a daily basis.

DUPING THE POPE Pope Francis is urging they be taken in and aided.....the Pope took in a family of Muslim refugees into the Papal residence.....and spoke of his being transformed by them. Little does he know.

Muslims have a particular hatred for Catholics. Hate-filled Muslims are saving their most vicious attacks for the Pope: the Muslim plan is to hang him in public from the Papal balcony and turn the Vatican into a mosque.....which means destroying 2000 years of priceless works of art.

News outlets reported earlier scores of Muslims surrounded the Vatican....lying-in-wait in so-called Muslim prayer rooms.

LEST WE FORGET--Islamic TURKEY received $21 billion economic/military US foreign aid (orchestrated by Democrat Robert Wexler---a Fla Congressman forced out of office for lying).

The ex-Fla Congressman inveigled the US to launch a "cooperative effort to further Turkish economic and military self-reliance," so the US stupidly loaned and granted Turkey more than $7 billion in economic aid and more than $14 billion in military assistance.

So much for "peace and cooperation." Turkey is now acquiring nuclear weapons and the ex-Fla Congressman is now running a.n.o.t.h.e.r Mideast (cough) "Peace" group sucking up US tax dollars. Not yet determined is the number of tax dollars the duplicitous Congressman siphoned off for himself via earmarks to run his (gag) peace group.

==============================================

UPDATE--Robert Wexler advised the Obama campaign on Israel and Mideast affairs.

Robert Wexler must have been VERY helpful to get to meet Bibi Netanyahu.

===========================================

He's under arrest for bank fraud, suspected of cyber-security breaches, theft of govt issue equipment, etc etc etc ...insurance fraud, bankruptcy fraud....Pakistani Imran Awan first landed a job with former Democrat Rep. Robert Wexler as an "information technology director" in 2004 at the ripe age of 24 or 25.

BACKSTORY Florida Democrat Rep. Robert Wexler got forced out of office---branded a liar. Wexler falsified US govt documents and duped voters to get into Congress---using his MIL's address to establish residency in the district. He actually lived in Maryland.

In July 2008, it was revealed that then-Cong Robert Wexler claimed his mother-in-law's home in Delray Beach, Fla as his official residence (though he was listed on the House roll as "Democrat-Boca Raton")...he actually lived in a Maryland suburb for most of the year.

Edward J. Lynch, a Republican running for Wexler's congressional seat, researched Wexler's living arrangements and took his argument to Fox News. "The house he lists on his voter registration is his in-laws' house, in a gated 55-and-older community," Lynch said. "Legally, he can't move back with children under 18."

After Wexler was confronted about the allegation, he stated that his mother-in-law does own the house in Delray Beach. But he also said he stays there when in Florida which, according to his office is, on average, about twice a month.

As a putative Florida resident, Wexler did not pay personal income tax, and his vehicles were also registered in that state, despite his near-permanent residency in Maryland and the Washington metropolitan area.

Wexler, born in 1961, did not meet the age requirements for his mother-in-law's senior community. Wexler later obtained a separate address within Palm Beach County.

BACKSTORY--CONG WEXLER APPOINTS HIMSELF ISLAMIC PEACEMAKER Then-Cong Wexler founded the Congressional Caucus on US-Turkish Relations and got himself a seat on a Congressional Study Group on Turkey.

As the putative "Fla Congressman (ousted for lying)," Wexler inveigled the US to launch a "cooperative effort" to further Islamic Turkey's "economic and military self-reliance."

At Wexler's behest, the US stupidly loaned and granted Islamic Turkey more than $7 billion in economic aid, and more than $14 billion in military assistance.

Countless US assets---our embassies, ships and military bases are bombed----our military and diplo-personnel savaged, killed, maimed and tortured by fanatics in Mideast hellholes---and invariably the US gets the blame: "We weren't stern enough, we weren't strong enough"---and my personal favorite----"we didn't give them enough money," etc etc etc.

Turkey has always projected a false “secular” image. And at the same time practiced multiple genocides and continuing cultural genocides.

The seeds to the problem is embedded in their “book”.

Many “Muslims” have also been recipients of this treatment. Alevi’s are the most well known, but it is not limited to that.

The problem is complicated by the fact that many “claim to be Muslim’ only to prevent being killed by those who actually believe this 7th century nonsense.

In Turkey itself the other year a Turkish security guy walked up to the Russian Ambassador at a news conference in Istanbul and gunned him down.

You know Erdogan resides in a 1,500 room palace? He is building a 300 room summer palace?

His “government” is building 50 new prisons for gulan members?

I doubt the Greeks are the type to do that. But they have experienced the same genocide in Turkey as others on a long list have.

In Cypress, yes.

In Turkey, the Greek population is almost totally victim of cultural genocide. Very few left. Just like Jews, Alevi and Ezidi.

Turkey continues to practice genocide of some type. Has from the beginning of the New Turkey after WWI.
