Last night my son’s high school football team had a game. I was standing in line waiting for tickets when I was approached by a woman carrying some very expensively printed propaganda sheets pimping for a proposed tax increase for the local school district.
I told her, “It’s not going to do any good to give these schools more money. You need new teachers. I have XX children, and I have seen that the teachers here are low-grade morons.”
Oddly enough, she seemed to be shocked. I don’t think anyone had ever presented her with that proposition before.
You’re giving true morons a bad rep. Always school levies/taxes are for the children which is a big lie. Here in WA something like a levy was pass and fully half went to staff.
