The entire Florida Peninsula and points north are poised to experience Hurricane Irma after the storm hugged Cuba's northern coastline. Thousands of Floridians who evacuated the Atlantic cost to Gulf Coast areas found their safe shelter under direct threat from Hurricane Irma as the forecast shifted W Friday night and Saturday. Hurricane Irma's prolonged interaction with Cuba diminished its strength to Category 3.
Irma is forecast to increase in strength as it crosses the FL Straits. The Florida Keys experienced strong outer bands while Irma grazed the N Cuba coastline.

Again we just had reports from data and the “turn” everyone is waiting for is has not happened yet. Stop looking at looped radar gifs; can be deceiving due to wobbles and the eye wall rebuilding etc. It will make that sharp turn but it hasn’t happened yet.

You can. We loose a few people every year who drive off the road and into a river, field, lake, etc. Some aren’t found till spring. But I can usually walk away from something like that.
I suppose it’s getting to be like a used car salesman.
There are some honest ones out there, but they are overwhelmed by the dishonest ones.
And actually, the real meteorologists are the ones being overwhelmed by political activists playing meteorologist on TV.

A front is coming down to meet Irma. When it does she’ll change direction. Still praying she makes it well into the Gulf first.
I suspect a lot of locals felt the same way.
The trough in question is already along the Gulf Coast. Your 'forecasts' would have more credibility if they were based on something remotely resembling facts.
