Awesome. Let us know when she turns.
“Maybe the size of this storm defies the normal tracking patterns.”
Probably requires larger adjustments.
In the meantime, this sucks and there’s a long night and day left.
...HEAVY SQUALLS WITH EMBEDDED TORNADOES SWEEPING ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA...
I thought the california drought was over after this years record rainfall. It was odd as I just got back from southern cali and it did still seem as dry as other years I was there.
Now let's watch all the fun as the South Floridians try to return cases of water.

OMG .... that’s one beautiful bridge.
But it makes me dizzy just looking at the photo! :^D
Im gonna make a guess and say Irma hits the Louisiana/Texas border..maybe Im wrong but to me I just don’t see her turning North
Awesome image!
Show off! :))
Charlotte, Columbia, and Greenville sold out.
Oh well.
Not the mention the 20 hours to get there.
Very sad. I saw those concrete ‘islands’ in some of the pictures, and wondered what they were.
Reminds of the Silver Bridge collapse, which was a failure, not a collusion:

Where is Limbaughs house in Florida?
TY.
Hey now dude, they were still inside the cone. At least for now.
I so appreciate your most heartfelt and sensible post. I just came in from going somewhere with a well-meaning friend who was spouting off about “why didn’t everyone leave?” Enough already!
I lived in FL for six years, was married to a native Floridian, who taught me everything about how to think about hurricanes, surges, prep, etc etc. After he died, when I was making a run for Orlando ahead of Hurricane Andrew, I could hear his voice loud and clear and was not afraid. I was prepared and realistic.
Bless you Floridians, natives and transplants, for your knowledge, experience, and willingness to watch out for the weakest citizens. I know you’ll come through stronger than ever.
I forgot the syntax for posting pictures. This one I don’t like at all.
Well out of the Cone of Silence. Palm Beach
Amazing how their accuracy improves in the hour before landfall !!!
...
Yeah, amazing how that is.
I truly believe there are variables hurricane-specialist meteorologists haven’t even discovered yet OR have politically/ideologically ignored to there forecasting detriment. If they follow the same failed patterns in their “predictive” modeling yet expect different results, there is a word for that.
Right in the Keys I believe.

gusty.””
Started at the end and tracked all the posts backward until I got to yours - just trying to find out where the bridge is. I still don’t know. HELP! I love to look at bridges but being on them is a different story.
