The entire Florida Peninsula and points north are poised to experience Hurricane Irma after the storm hugged Cuba's northern coastline. Thousands of Floridians who evacuated the Atlantic cost to Gulf Coast areas found their safe shelter under direct threat from Hurricane Irma as the forecast shifted W Friday night and Saturday. Hurricane Irma's prolonged interaction with Cuba diminished its strength to Category 3.
Irma is forecast to increase in strength as it crosses the FL Straits. The Florida Keys experienced strong outer bands while Irma grazed the N Cuba coastline.

Where NWS forecasters and their fans hangout, you'll see a deep hatred of Joe.
Key West? Really? Any word from the brave souls that stayed in Hemingway House Museum
Radar out of Key West and Miami show a large void south of the eye wall. Anyone know what that means concerning the storm structure and intensity?
It’s like the bottom of the storm is tearing away.
Was it this guy?
To be sure there will be many jerks out doing jerky things when the winds die down. All those empty houses and no power for security alarms will be far too enticing.
Friends of my wife had/have an in ground pool (NC).
Good size thunderstorm rolled through one afternoon and blew most of the furniture into the pool. One leg of a chair poked a hole in the bottom and it cost an arm and two legs to be repaired.
Pool folks recommend furniture be stored inside somewhere or secured to something if there is a chance of bad weather and you have a vinyl liner.
as much hate as liberals and never trumpers hate Trump?
It needs to be in the pool to prevent it from becoming projectile
Those people could gave been in a panic and didn’t fully picture what the place would look like during 100 mph wind

Florida AG Pam Bondi reports two law enforcement officers killed from Hurricane Irma.
most pools in florida are in the ground and don’t have vinyl liners like above ground pools from up north have.
I hope not from responding to people who shouldn’t have been where they were.
“Hardee County Sheriffs Office deputy who had been helping at an evacuation shelter was killed on her way home to pick up supplies for the shelter... The crash happened Sunday morning at the intersection of State Route 66 and Old Trueswald Road. The person in the other car was also killed. Authorities say that person was a department of corrections officer.”

We have in ground pools up here in NC as well as above ground ones.
Most in ground pools have vinyl liners around here.
Only the older ones are cement or fiber glass.
Prayers up for you and everyone in the area.
I saw your original comment and it was nothing resembling what you were accused of saying.
That gives him high credibility in my judgment!
Virgil said nothing about wishing destruction. Maybe you need a nice soothing bath or cup of camomile tea or something.
Joe is the Donald Trump of meteorologists.
They have specialized machines to do it.
My son is saying that FEMA is going to allow people to sign up for insurance until December to be covered now. I do t know if that’s true.
