Cat 3? Try Cat 4 and still capable of Cat 5 if it grows and goes to Fl from Cuba. Possibly Irma will dance around Cuba and go into the Gulf where I pray it dissipates. Oh, don't forget JOSE, he is riding IRMA’s broom stick!

True, but don’t get your hopes up...it lost some strength over Cuber, but it will get it all back once back over water.

The bigger problem is that the track is now right on the Western edge of the Florida Peninsula - where it can stay strong and wipe out everything there (rather than weaken over land).

One track (out of 20) has it go right into the middle of the Gulf, and then into the Western Florida Panhandle. But that’s about it. The other tracks are not pretty for South Florida.

The Panhandle is known as a conservative area; one nickname is the Redneck Riviera.

One might think one knows why God would use Irma to blast the more libertine Southern parts of Florida. But why the Panhandle?

I say: maybe the Christian parts of America need a wake up call too. If they are just sitting on their Merciful Righteousness and aren’t busy reaching out with Him, then He is getting steamed in heaven about it. The Redneck Riviera needs to learn what reaching out means.
