But the September 8 letter from the Attorney General Jeff Sessions Justice Department said it would not even reopen the investigation because officials require proof beyond a reasonable doubt that a government employee intentionally discriminated against an applicant for a tax-exempt status based on viewpoint.

The bald headed IRS fella was worse-Kosenin? Open contempt. That’s ok. They got away with it. If it’s cut and dried-smoking gun-go for it. Nothing there. When the 40 or so Benghazi victims come forward I’ll believe there’s something there. I’d be singing like a bird if my life was put in jeopardy by these flakes. I might even go postal but since we haven’t heard from them we must save our ammo and assume there are no victims.
“Its not Sessions. Its Trump.”
So all Trump’s Twitter attacks targeting Sessions urging actions (or Sessions to step down) on such things was just Trump trying to make Sessions look weak?
I disagree. Sessions has shown he is weak and not up to the job. Personally I think Trump wanted to fire him but pressure from the Swamp wouldn’t let him.
Have any “Tea Party” congressmen like Marco Rubio (elected in 2010 with millions in Tea Party donations) spoken out about this, or have they decided that their former supporters are just suckers and rubes who can be safely discarded?
And Koskinen is still the IRS Commissioner. It is hard to not believe that from Trump on down that no one wants to open up the can of worms. What files does the IRS have on all the power players?
Sessions is starting to look like a panty waist when it comes to government corruption which seems to be our PRIMARY problem in DC.
Session is a weak-kneed coward that is not worthy of a Trump administration or America!
Sessions will not “reopen the investigation” and he’ll rely on the findings of Loretta Lynch and Eric Holder that there was no “proof beyond a reasonable doubt” to discriminate against tea party groups. Because Holder and Lynch would never overlook or ignore evidence...right.
I hope Trump starts slamming Sessions again on Twitter and the little worm resigns in protest. He is unfit for that job. I am still steaming mad that he came out in favor of civil asset forfeiture.
Sessions has been bought.
The only question is when did it happen and who is behind it
The slave has become the master, it happened with the creation of the income tax back in 1913. The 16th amendment passed on February 3, 1913— a day forever known as the start of our nation’s downfall. Look what has happened since.
Shame on Session
“Sessions is a spineless POS!!!!”
Agreed. Seconded. and all those who STILL think this little man with a irritatable voice is anything more than a lowly over paid over tenured little s senator, keep supporting this backstabbing lazy POS!!!!!
Someone that ignorant is the top prosecutor? You could get just about any DA out of rural Georgia that knows better than that. Where did he go to law school?
THIS is THE bridge to die on!
Typical, politicians protecting politicians. Trump should fire Sessions.
“Sessions has been bought.”
Or blackmailed. I think there’s a 50/50 chance it’s one of those things. Nobody can be such a dolt and not be drooling; there has to be something else going on.
If handled right this could have gone straight to Obama.
Isn’t the whole purpose of an investigation to determine intent in cases such as this?
Aren't those “laws” enshrined in the Constitution now??......*spit*
