Actually those “jerks” appear to be correct. See my post #100. Scientists (who actually practice REAL science, unlike the warmists) believe we are now in a solar minimum, similar to the Maunder and Dalton Minimums of the past. During those episodes, there was greater earthquake and volcano activity, as well as generally colder weather. That does not at all mean the two phenomena are related. Only that they sometimes seem to correlate.
