Contrast a fourth-world nation that can't keep the lights on at night, with the label of being a massive threat to the free world.

He is openly developing nuclear weapons. He only has to get one... ONE... to land on target, and up to a million or so people can be killed. The two ends that you contrast are not incompatible, because this tyrant does not mind having entire hospitals dedicated to his health, while ignoring the millions of skeletons under his heel.

You are beyond foolish to imagine that NK's dictator-imposed poverty means that they are not a threat.

I agree, which is why if you roll back the videotape, you'll see that I said:

I don't doubt that NK poses some danger. I think 'lil Kim shows signs of inbreeding (i.e., he may be crazy), and it's a situation worth monitoring.

What I consider unlikely - but still plausible - is that he's got a nuke. Unlikely = less than 50% probability. Maybe it's a 40% probability. But it's not 90%.

Indeed, if he was in fact openly-developing a nuke, then where are the pictures? Where is the evidence? All we have are about five seismic disturbances and claims of successful nuclear tests from NK (yes, the same trustworthy source that claimed the late Kim Jong Il made 11 hole-in-ones).

Going further, should I believe he has a nuke because CNN tells me, or because some globalist shill tells me we have no choice to but to bomb him before he bombs us or Seoul, or because some DeepStater who knew some guy who knew some guy who told a reporter that he's got a nuke?

Indeed, only a few months ago Sean Spicer said "I think there is no evidence that North Korea has that capability at this time."

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that he has a nuke. What is our strategy? Send thousands of Americans to die for the security of the Korean peninsula (even his lousy missile tests can't get close to the US)? That was what Hillary would have done, for less than noble reasons. In fact, Bannon recently stated:

There's no military solution, forget it. Until somebody solves the part of the equation that shows me that 10 million people in Seoul [South Korea] don't die in the first 30 minutes from conventional weapons, I don't know what you're talking about, there's no military solution here, they got us.

Let me be clear. The man-child KJU threatened the United States. He's doing something over there, because there have been seismic disturbances. We should keep an eye or two on him. But all of this doesn't ipso facto mean he's got a nuke, and can hit the US, and that we have no choice but go to war.

I say give Psyops a chance. (In fact, Bannon's comment may have been just a taste of that.) It may not satiate the warmonger in us, but it may be effective.
