In my daily rounds I encounter a Father/Daughter who are homeless and living in a Tent area in Orlando. While they both swear up and down have been clean since I met them close to 3 weeks ago (been tossing them a few bucks for food).
Part of me wants to track them down. However given their history of multiple arrests, I keep thinking damn, what if the GPS my locale and some drug dealers wipe me out later. The girl is just beautiful, long blonde hair down to her rear end, great skin, pretty eyes, but she’s showing signs of addiction. I’m pretty sure they have a place to go.
Sounds heartless but this little lady is a felon at 21. The dad is my age (48) and neither can own weapons but still. Sure I could toss him around if he tried to take anything, my concern is him being in trouble with a dealer and saying “I know a nice house and a guy with money”. As of now they don’t know my address, city etc.
Kindness should not give way to making yourself a victim.

If I were you, I’d keep it that way. You’ll be opening up a can of worms otherwise. You can still be compassionate in other ways.
Don’t do it. I know about what the Bible says about entertaining, and angels unaware, but this might be stretching it a bit.

There are homeless shelters and agencies to provide shelter and food for the Father/Daughter. Most agencies urge people not to give them cash, because more than likely it will feed their habits not their appetites.
They do not seek help from those places because they are not drug free.
