Looks pretty run down to begin with so any impact will be destructive.
I've heard that, because productivity in Cuba went more-or-less to zero when the communists took over, much of what you see in Cuba (e.g., buildings and cars) is pre-Castro. (Note the architectural decoration on some buildings in the picture.) Many of these buildings were presumably made before whatever passed for building standards in the communist era; and many buildings that aren't up to minor hurricanes probably blew down long ago. (Morón is one of the older towns in the area.) However, I don't know if this place has ever been tested at Cat 4 or 5.
