She still doesn’t get it.
In her forthcoming memoir ‘What Happened” (out Tuesday), Hillary Clinton takes perfunctory responsibility for losing the election before spending nearly 500 pages blaming: Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, “rash FBI director” James Comey, Obama, the Russians, sexism, and, finally, the American people for not liking her enough.
Sanders, she writes, had the gall to run against her even though he’s not a Democrat.
“That’s not a smear, that’s what he says,” she writes. “He didn’t get into the race to make sure a Democrat won the White House, he got in to disrupt the Democratic Party.”
Clinton bemoans the sexism among “Bernie bros,” and claims a causal link between Sanders’ campaign and Trump’s win. “Some of his supporters . . . took to harassing my supporters online,” she writes. “It got ugly and more than a little sexist.” Such attacks, she claims, “caused lasting damage, making it harder to unify progressives in the general election and paving the way for Trump’s ‘Crooked Hillary’ campaign.”
Obama, she says, was no help, telling her “to grit my teeth and lay off Bernie as much as I could. I felt like I was in a straitjacket.”
Sanders, like so many leading Dems, has no sympathy.
“My response is that right now it’s appropriate to look forward and not backward,” he told The Hill. Left unmentioned was collusion between Clinton’s team and the DNC to oust Sanders from the primary and depict his campaign as “a mess” to reporters. These revelations, contained in a 2016 Wikileaks dump, led to the immediate resignation of DNC chair and Clinton supporter Debbie Wasserman Schulz.

I figured a different kind of fix was in at their first debate. When Sanders announced out of nowhere, “nobody wants to talk about your emails” (or whatever) as an applause line, I figured he was just there for show.
It was a long time ago but they nominated William Jennings Bryan three times.
Of course the Republicans nominated Dewey twice. Nominating Nixon after a loss paid off - sort of.
I wonder which presidential candidate would count as the sorest loser - maybe Hillary.

There are many terrible reasons for President Trump’s victory, but there are two things that were not a factor. First, Hillary was the perfect candidate; nothing she did harmed her candidacy in any way. Second, President Trump was the worst candidate imaginable; nothing he did helped his candidacy at all, except with racists, sexists, bigots, and the rest of the basket of deplorables.

She knows exactly what happened; all of these postmortems are to re-write history. In 50 years kids will learn Donald Trump stole this election outright, by trucking in Russians to vote and rigging voting machines. Bet on it!
I hope Mrs Clinton lives long enough to witness the first woman president. The accompanying photos will be glorious.
I shared your opinion. She had to have someone to run against. They miscalculated how much people would go for Bernie. And they went for Bernie so hard because she’s so horrible. And no one ever had the balls to tell her that she’s so horrible, because, well, she’s so horrible.
Oh, that would be great; remember how furious Jesse Jackson was when Obama was on his way there? “Gonna cut his nuts off...”
She mentioned feeling like she was in a straightjacket. Glad she’s coming to terms with that concept. It will make it easier for her to adapt when the time comes.

I had never thought about it, but the comment in the article; “’I’m with Her.’ should have been, ‘She’s with Us’,” really hit me as the crux of why she failed.
I did notice that practically everything the candidate published would have looked at home on a CCCP propaganda poster.
There was no way Americans would latch on to a commie/socialist like sanders.
His role was to justify a center/left position for clinton to attract independents.
Unfortunately for clinton and the DNC they had no idea the extent of the monster that they had created over these past 30 years..
Her books and huge advances are nothing but money laundering schemes.
