The hospital/university have their own cops (fairly ineffective, per the video), so technically they wouldn’t need the city’s jack booted storm troopers to deal with internal issues.
Get your attendant to get you your meds. You appear to be off schedule.
I have no idea what your conflict is, but let me state for the record you are both fags.
I kid, but really: you’re both fags.
Gracias for the great synopsis.
You cured some folks of their ignorance with that.
She resisted an illegal arrest. She wasn’t a ANTIFA protester. She was a Nurse who refused to comply with an Illegal order that , if followed, may have resulted in her losing her Nursing ticket and/or massive lawsuit for violating a PT civil rights. I don’t even see how this cop can be defended. He deserves everything that he got.
I work in an OR that treats a lot of gang shooting victims. We have cops in the OR to guard against some gang punk coming in to finish the job.
> But how did the nurse know the guy wasnt just some drunk found behind the wheel? <
If you don’t mind me jumping in, that wouldn’t have mattered to the nurse, one way or the other. All that mattered was that the cop could not meet any of the three conditions necessary to draw blood.
By the way, if the patient here was obviously drunk, he would have been under arrest. And that would have met one of those conditions.
The fact that he wasn’t under arrest says a lot. That patient was a victim, period. And the cops were going after a victim here. Indefensible.
I agree...I was just responding to the “typical female” comment.
I happen to love alpha males. Real ones. Not the fake alphas...betas with ass hole tendencies.
Me: They had such a policy and apparently it worked. Until Officer Jeff Payne assaulted the nurse, that is.
What good will another policy do if police cant be trusted to honor it?
Best comment I've seen ,,,, thank you
That's easy - just re-post it w/o whatever was offensive.
It is comical you are defending criminal activity by a STUPID policeman.
That cop is reason for the 2nd amendment and you defend him.
You should be embarrassed.
“What good will another policy do if police cant be trusted to honor it?
Hospital and police should have a written agreement signed by hospital AND police representatives and their respective legal counsels before there can be an improvement in relations.
If a rogue cop violates the policy, he could be the one taken away in cuffs. Anyways, if cop got evidence w/o warrant, it should be thrown out; so this is bad and sloppy police work.
Yes.
Police were involved in a high speed chase.
Person that they were chasing swerved out of his lane in front of a truck.
The suspect was killed, the driver of the truck, a reserve police officer, was badly injured and taken to the hospital.
He was being treated when SLC officers demanded that they be allowed to do a blood draw.
By law and by agreement with the hospital they are allowed to do a blood draw if, they have a warrant, the person is under arrest, the person gives consent.
They had no warrant, the driver was not under arrest and since he was unconscious he was unable to give consent.
When these facts were pointed out to officer Jackboot and his LT by both the nurse and the hospital lawyer officer Jackboot went totally off his nut and tried to arrest the nurse, laying violent hands on her and dragging her out to his patrol car.
At no point did he actually place her under arrest because he knew she was legally in the right.
After holding her for a while he was forced to let her go.
While in the parking lot office Jackboot decided to shoot off his mouth about how he was a part time ambulance driver and how he would "punish the hospital" by bringing them only transients and would take the "good patients" somewhere else.
The hospital needs to sue the cops for every dollar they can and file a restraining order against the offend cop.
Until the taxpayers feel serious pain they will continue to elect corrupt officials that don’t hold their cops accountable.
“cops (some of them, especially) have a habit of retaliating in a number of ways, none of them pleasant.”
The people have ways of retaliating against temper tantrum cops, none of them pleasant.
They had one. You saw how much good it did when officer Jackboot and his LT decided that they were going to get their way or else.
Az Hat is banned.
This never came up in the 10 years of residency training I did, but that was decades ago.
PS: Meathead LT lectured the handcuffed nurse for 5 minutes or so, wouldn’t let anyone else talk and claimed that the hospital was getting “in the way of MY LAW!”
Privacy is a big thing now, you can not even give medical information to a legal spouse unless you have a permission slip.
