We need to hold Congress’ feet to the fire. NO AMNESTY. And hold Trump to this as well. Target anyone that supports, votes for, or signs AMNESTY. Primary them. Our clear, consistent, and loud voices will keep DACA dead.

And on a positive note, we should proactively re-frame the debate. Consider that we are sending hundreds of thousands of American-educated youth home. They bring our education, our values, and uplifting so they can fix their home countries. That is invaluable aid to these countries and reverses the brain-drain that might have contributed to some of these countries ills.
And deport their parents and families! Send them all home. Let them fix their home countries. How about a repatriation act? Give these deportees, especially if voluntary, the seed money to go home and get a good start at home. And a nice card that says "Bye!"

Trap has been set for the virtue-signalling Congress who allowed Obama to usurp their congressional responsibility by putting DACA in place by executive order so that they did not have to attach their names to it.
Now they will either need to let DACA die (as it should) or come up with legislation to continue it and answer to their constituents next November.
My guess is that DACA never sees the light of day as a law passed in Congress. I might be wrong but that's my gut feeling. And if I'm wrong and it does get to Trump, I predict that Trump will veto it and be sustained by the Supreme Court.

Trump is definitely one of the smartest men we’ve seen in the WH.

DACA needs to end now.. Not 6 months and not 2 1/2 years while the green cards all expire.. This was an illegal act which gave illegals green cards..

In spite of the spin from the right (Breitbart) and the left, (CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Washington Post, etc) the conservatives in my household are very happy over this. President Trump is ending the unconstitutional executive order by Barack Obama and is returning the constitutional authority back to Congress in the creation of our immigration laws. And he is implementing a common sense approach regarding those, who through no fault of their own, were brought here or who were born here as children to go through the system. You don't allow people to live in a country for a lifetime and then suddenly decide to enforce the immigration laws. If you're going to blame somebody, blame the past two administrations who REFUSED to enforce our immigration laws in the first place. This also forces the Congress to do their constitutionally mandated job that they were elected to do and to show their true colors on where they stand on this issue. The left will try and spin this as heartless, but what is heartless is leaving these people in limbo as to whether or not DACA will be renewed and ignoring the rule of law.

My guess is that DACA never sees the light of day as a law passed in Congress. POS Ryan is already saying that Congress "must act." You can bet that Congress will suddenly get off its collective ass to pass something for illegals or tie it to Harvey aid or to the debt ceiling.
Just amazing how elected officials who swore to uphold the Constitution continue to put illegal aliens ahead of taxpaying citizens.

Takes it right to the next election cycle. This was the last thing the Republicans could run on to beat the Democrats. Everything else they gave up. The only thing that makes sense is the Republicans to the left of Ted Cruz are really Democrats.

Home to countries that they never lived in and whose language they may or not speak.
I’m not saying that they need to stay; I’m saying that the idea that this is some kind of reverse immigration that will fix the problems in Mexico or Central America is kind of ludicrous.

I believe the media claims that 70-80% of people support amnesty about as much as I believe their claim that there are only 11-12 million illegal aliens in the US.

Well done, President Trump! But Congress will do everything it can to provide amnesty for the illegals. They are traitors.
